The most important part about being a nanny is seeing the happiness in their face. As well as being able to be there for them when they want to play even when they just want to talk.
My experience with special needs children...
I have had years of experience with a special needs child. And that child is my younger brother. At a very young age he was diagnosed with mild retardation and Autism. I was taught by my mom on how to take care of him as well as, keeping a very close eye on him and on how to listen to him when he wants something. As I helped take care of him all these years I can say I feel for the parents with a child that has special needs. People don’t understand that caring for them requires plenty of patience. I believe that they are just as precious, smart and funny as any other child.

Honestly I don’t have a favorite because I have so many but I can say... This one time I was watching 4 kids, they were brother an sister’s. I was doing everyone’s hair an when I tell you we held the most funniest and most intelligent conversation. Thinking of it now warms my heart because I actually became close with them through that. An till this day they call me to check up on me an tell me that they miss me.
