I have worked in both grade-level education as well as early childhood development. My primary experience is with kids between ages 4-13 years old. I have engaged with this age group in both classroom and childcare settings!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to help kids get outside and challenge themselves. Some of my favorite activities include nature walks, outdoor exploration, and mentally challenging games. When going outside isn't an option, I like to help kids explore their imaginative side. Activities can range from playing pretend to creating a work of art together.

The most important part about being a nanny is integrating myself into the child's life. It is important to me that the child(ren) I work with view me as a safe and caring adult. I will always be there when they need me and support them in whatever way I can.
My experience with special needs children...
I have taught special needs students in a classroom setting for over 2 years now. I have worked with kids who have physical disabilities such as blindness and limb-loss, as well as kids with learning disabilities such as Autism and Down syndrome. I love working with special needs kids because I enjoy learning about their unique view of the world!
