I love getting outside in this South Florida weather. If that's going for walks, going to the park, jumping in the pool then I am game! I also know how brutal the heat can be as a former New Englander. So staying inside to play games, watch a movie, or have a dance party are also always a blast :)

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important thing is going home after being with the kids and having the parent relay how awesome of a day their child had. Making a great impression on a child and making their experience fun is the absolute goal. These are such valuable years for them, and being part of that as a sitter places much responsibility on me; but that is the most rewarding thing.

My experience with special needs children...

I cared for a child on the spectrum in high school who taught me so much. His family and I are still good family friends and I will never forget how amazing he was despite some challenges I faced. It was a learning process for me at first but absolutely rewarding.
