I previously worked as an early childhood educator and as a home visitor, supporting children from infancy through school age. One of my favorite nanny moments was when a 4-year-old I worked with proudly “taught” me how to make a peanut butter sandwich—with a spoon, a toy plate, and lots of giggles.
