A little bit about us

I am a registered nurse, and because of the nature of my job, my schedule is constantly changing. I typically receive my schedule about six weeks in advance, but my workdays are not consistent from week to week. I work three days per week at my main job, with coverage needed from approximately 5:30 AM to 8:30 PM on those days.

I am currently on maternity leave and expecting my second baby in early August, so the position will look a little different during this transition period before evolving into the long-term role.

During my maternity leave, responsibilities will primarily include:

* Taking my 2-year-old daughter to daycare in the morning and picking her up in the afternoon.
* Assisting with light household tasks while she is at daycare or napping, including:
* Washing dishes
* Laundry (primarily the children’s)
* Keeping the home tidy and organized
* Prepping meals or snacks for the children as needed
* Once the baby arrives, assisting with postpartum support, including:
* Washing and sanitizing breast pump parts
* Bagging, labeling, and organizing expressed breast milk
* Helping keep baby supplies stocked and organized
* Being an extra set of hands while I recover and adjust to having a newborn

I also have two small dogs (about 8 pounds each) that are very friendly and love to cuddle. Daily responsibilities would include feeding them three times a day and taking them on a walks to ensure they get some exercise and attention.

Once I return to work, the role will transition into a more traditional nanny position.

I am looking for someone who is patient, engaging, and enjoys working with toddlers to help my daughter continue reaching her developmental milestones through play and learning. During naps or daycare hours, light household duties would include:

* Preparing bottles and meals for the children
* Washing children’s clothes
* Washing dishes
* Helping maintain a clean and organized home
