Hi :) My name is Mayra and I am 20 years old. I reside in Las Vegas with my family. I have always had a passion for children, I hope to become a mom one day as well. I have been a babysitter since I was 13 taking care of infants and toddlers, as I got older it became easier and picked up skills along the way. I know how to time manage and multitask, especially since I take care of 4 different aged children ranging from 6 months to 11 years old. Although I am not CPR certified I know how to care for children as if they were my own ! Not to mention, I’ve had an early childhood class before and passed !

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have done some volunteer work with children! I sometimes step in at my old elementary school and see if they need help with some of the kids and/or setting up activities for them!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

If the kids I babysit have an outdoor play setup I tend to go and enjoy nature with them. In certain weather conditions I’ll stay inside and play indoor games whatever they may be. I’ll get creative !

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part is making sure the children I babysit are always safe and well taken care of. Overall, I love helping kids bring their imaginary journey to life since they are still just kids, as well as helping them develop skills as they grow up, I love teaching ! Especially since I have the patience for it :)

My experience with special needs children...

I don’t have much experience with special needs children but I am willing to learn with proper instructions !

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment was when I was babysitting 3 kids, a pair of twins and their younger sibling. We played a game of noticing the differences on them and somehow I wasn’t able to tell who was who and the other siblings was having a debate with me about it and the twins were just laughing at the both of us since we were so lost and confused , it was a very funny moment indeed !
