More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have experience caring for children in both home and hospital settings. I’ve babysat and cared for family members of various ages, providing attentive, nurturing, and safe support. I have also provided specialized care for newborns in hospital settings, including holding and comforting infants experiencing withdrawal, offering skin-to-skin contact, and supporting their early development with patience and consistency.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy engaging children in activities that encourage creativity, learning, and fun. Some of my favorite things to do with kids include imaginative and pretend play, arts and crafts, and music activities such as singing and movement. I also enjoy cooking or baking together in a safe, age-appropriate way, as it helps build confidence and life skills. I believe these activities help children express themselves, stay engaged, and feel supported in a positive environment.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is loving and encouraging children while providing a safe, supportive environment where they feel comfortable being themselves. When children feel secure, it’s easier to guide them through daily challenges and help them develop positive habits and behaviors. I believe consistency, patience, and care are key to helping children grow and thrive.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my most memorable nanny moments was during my first trip with a nanny family to Snowshoe. While walking on an icy road, I was holding their 7-month-old baby and carefully making my way when I slipped. Instinctively, I flipped onto my back to protect him. I was terrified and immediately checked on the baby — only to find him laughing and giggling, completely unfazed. It was a scary moment, but it reminded me how little ones often take their cues from us — and how staying calm and composed can help turn an unexpected situation into a lighthearted one.
