More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Recently I have been working at a Ymca in their daycare section. We have many different kids come in where we watch over and play with them.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Reading, helping with homework, hanging out/having down time, playing with toys, and so much more.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I think the most important thing about being a nanny is obviously caring for the kids, but I think it's deeper than that. You need to have actual have compassion for the little ones and help them grow in to a wonderful person. A part of your heart has to open for the kids, you can't fake things like you can at a normal job.
My experience with special needs children...
I have very little experience with special needs children but I am open to trying and gaining the knowledge in order to care for them!
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite experiences as being a nanny would probably be getting close to the kids. With older children, I am always so happy when they are comfortable telling me things about their life and with younger kids/toddlers, I love seeing them get more comfortable with me and settle in.
Another moment I remember vividly was taking the two kids I used to watch all the time down the their family gym and use the trampoline park during the summer. Just watching the kids jump around and us play games always bring a smile to my face.
