More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have babysat numerous times with a variety of ages. I have also been a full-time and part-time nanny for multiple families. I am trained in CPR/ first aid and have taken not only development classes, but also attended early childhood education classes in preparation for childcare and teaching.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love creating and collaborating with kids. Taking walks and playing with their favourite toys makes me happy as we are bonding and creating core memories that will last. Getting them outside and exploring is such a fun thing to do and I love watching them learn more about the world and interact with nature.

The most important part about being a nanny...

What matters to me is providing quality childcare and creating experiences that will last with the child. My obvious first concern is their safety, but I also want them to enjoy being with me and feel comfortable around me. Catering to both the child’s needs and the parents' needs is what I strive to do.

My experience with special needs children...

I have not had any experience with special needs children but I am very willing to learn. I think one of the most important things is to be patient and kind with the child.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The first summer I nannied for, I took the boys I was watching to the beach. Most caregivers there were unengaged with their children, but I was in the water with all the kids, playing WITH them! I had so much fun splashing and swimming around with them and I could tell that they loved it too!
