I used to watch the neighbor kids after school, as well as take care of my younger siblings on a regular basis, including cooking and cleaning etc.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love going for hikes or to the park. Swimming is one of my absolute favorite activities! I love to play in the leaves or run around the yard playing tag. I love to play on the swings and just make being outside the biggest enjoyable part of a child’s day. Getting outside and being active is so huge and with winter coming that means snowmen and snowball fights!!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Honestly the biggest and most important part for me about being a nanny is not only making the kids happy but keeping them safe. That is my main prerogative when watching your children. I want them to be safe, happy, and healthy. I aim to treat your babies like they were my own, until the time comes to hand them back to you.
My experience with special needs children...
I have never cared for a special needs child, however I am not unwilling to try
The most important part about being a nanny...
I was watching two young kiddos one day, a boy(3) and a girl(2), we decided to hop on the trampoline but since the kiddos were so small I took turns picking them up and gently bouncing them around. At one point the little girl grabbed my face, kissed me on the lips and said “this is so much fun Aunty!” The kiddies I watch call me aunty since it’s easier than my real name. That was just one favorite moment among many.

Hi! I’m Ali, I’m 24, and I do have a couple years of experience working in a daycare being paid, but I actually grew up in a daycare ran from my home as a child. I like to say I “grew up raising children”. I have experience with kids of all ages from babies just a few weeks old to kids in grade school. I’m very clean so keeping the house tidy throughout the day, cooking, things like that are no problem.
