While running a coping skills group at the Boys and Girls Club after-school program, I led some yoga and talked to the kids about their stressors. I am a firm believer in validating the often difficult experiences of aging and growing as rapidly as children do. One of our girls came up to me after and thanked me for "getting it". It warmed my heart to know it resonated and that the group felt seen in the challenges of childhood!
