A little bit about me

My name is Megan and I have been working at my current daycare for 10 years now. I started there when I was 17 and I became the lead toddler teacher after 1 year of working there, and in 2020 I was promoted to Assistant Director, while still working as the lead in my classroom. I will be attending school this coming fall for Massage therapy, and I'm super excited! I love working with children, and even though I mostly worked with toddlers and infants, I still love visiting my big preschoolers who I have been with since they were in my classroom. I am CPR and first aid trained, background checked and fingerprinted, and also have many years of experience in the classroom as well as many hours of trainings through the state of Michigan for childcare. My favorite thing about being a teacher is watching them learn and grow and hit their milestones, and being a part of it. I'm very good at time management, dealing with tough situations, communicating, and I don't mind cleaning and cooking!
