A little bit about me

Hello! I've been nannying & babysitting, for over 15 years, and love giving quality time, love, and attention to the kiddos or infants i'm with. I have an 8 yo who is homeschooled (involved in a co-op with other children) as well as trains in JuJitsu, full time 5 days a week, so we are a busy family, but we love having fun, learning as much as we can, and being active and healthy!I am looking to open my home to care for another child/infant during the week. My daughter will be there and is very helpful and friendly! I have experience with all ages. I have been an over night nanny, a regular weekend babysitter, and hands on nanny to many families over the years. I stepped back from work last year and during that time, have taken care of my niece (3yo) up until a few months ago. Ideally looking to care for the infant/child in our home. I am a kind, friendly, active, hands on, and love to cook! I have a background in Emergency medicine, holistic nutrition, and culinary skills.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I am one of the four Moms, involved in our active co-op homeschool. I've nannied for over 15 years from the Northshore of Highland Park, to my old neighborhood, Portage Park. We've moved from the city (Chicago) to the NWburbs recently, but I've been a long time babysitter, as well as the go to Mom when kiddos need a play to stay or just a fun play date.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

We are an active family, and we love exploring outside on walks, playing in the yard, doing arts and crafts, learning new things, getting fun exercise, cooking, baking, and much more!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I am very big on making kids (infants) feel comfortable, and being themselves. I think having fun, yet being in a respectful and safe environment in very important. My daughter LOVES to get to know other kids and babies and it makes me happy now being able to help out another family with her involved.
