Activities I enjoy doing with the children include taking them to a park with a playground, going on walks, playing in the yard, playing board games, making forts, playing dress up, watching movies and tons of other fun activities.

What matters most to me about being a nanny is ensuring the safety and well being of the children. Knowing that the children are genuinely enjoying their time while I’m with them makes it easier on the parents and the children. Seeing the kids face light up when they see me always makes me happy. I want the kids to enjoy their time and have fun!
My experience with special needs children...
I have a disabled uncle that is bed ridden who is taken care of by my grandparents. Growing up around him I got to see how my grandparents care for him.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment had to of been when I was babysitting for this three year old girl and after her parents got back home we sat and talked for a bit then I was going to use the restroom before leaving. The little girl locked me in the bathroom and did not want me to leave. Her parents tried explaining to her that I have a family that I have to go home too. The little girl was so sad I had to leave but it relieved the parents knowing their daughter enjoyed me so it wasn’t as difficult to leave their daughter.
