More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
For six years, I was actively involved in the National Charity League (NCL), where I volunteered with individuals of all ages. Some of the most meaningful experiences came from working with children at events like the Special Olympics, where I had the opportunity to build connections and support kids and young adults with disabilities in my community. These experiences strengthened my passion for caregiving and taught me the value of compassion, inclusion, and building genuine relationships.
In addition, I volunteered every summer at a church camp, where I get to work with children of all different ages. It’s a special opportunity to help them build friendships, grow in confidence, and feel included in a supportive, fun environment.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love keeping kids active and engaged through a mix of outdoor and creative activities. I enjoy being outside with them—playing sports, going for walks, or just spending time at the park. It’s a great way for kids to burn energy, build confidence, and have fun.
I also enjoy doing crafts and hands-on projects, which give kids a chance to be creative and express themselves. Whether it's painting, drawing, or making something together, it’s always a fun way to connect.
I like supporting whatever each child is interested in. Whether that’s helping them practice a hobby or trying something new, I enjoy encouraging their interests and making everyday moments enjoyable and meaningful.

The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, the most important part of being a nanny is building trust and a genuine connection with both the children and their family. It’s about being someone the kids feel safe with, can have fun with, and look to for support. Beyond just helping with day-to-day needs, I believe a nanny should create a positive, encouraging environment where kids can grow, feel heard, and be themselves.
My experience with special needs children...
I’ve had the opportunity to build meaningful connections with children in the special needs community through my volunteer work with the National Charity League, including events like the Special Olympics. These experiences have taught me patience, empathy, and the importance of celebrating every child’s individuality. I also have a personal connection—my cousin has Down syndrome, and being part of her life as she’s grown up has been incredibly special. Spending time with her has given me a deeper understanding of the joy, strength, and perspective that children with special needs bring to the people around them.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of the most rewarding parts of working with kids is when they invite me to be part of their lives beyond just the time I’m caring for them. Moments like being asked to come watch their sports games or other activities mean so much—they show that the connection we’ve built is real and meaningful. Knowing they value my presence and want me there to cheer them on is one of the most fulfilling parts
