I’ve done volunteer work with children in a women’s & children’s daycare inside the facility. I was living in Hagerstown at the time and i truly did enjoy doing it & would love to prove myself on a trial basis if necessary.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love taking walks making it about the nature or any animals I think it’s helpful to keep their minds focusing on that. Let’s be honest it’s hard to get kids to play outside or appreciate nature unlike when I was a kid and I’m assuming you as well! Even little games like eye spy or red light green light.. But I love the playground or sometimes just a sprinkler the backyard or could be on a scooter or a bike outside if permitted. Inside I love games me and my kids have a ridiculous amount of games from kids monopoly to the floor is lava! Sometimes puzzles or coloring but I’m also into crafts I like to try to get everyone together focusing on a project start small go from there but I like to paint rocks and hide them with the children as well. Try to set up a daily schedule with different activities to fill our day while switching it up so it’s exciting keeps their attention.
