A little bit about me

I am a highly educated, kind, fun mom of three kiddos (ages 9, 8 and 6) who is looking to fill some hours in my day while my own kids are in school. I am a MA-licensed occupational therapist (master’s degree) with pediatric experience, and I also nannied for many years before my first son was born (both full and part time).

I am currently looking for part time hours with a special family close to Stoneham that will ideally enable me to drop off and pick up my own kids. However, I can possibly offer more flexibility for the right family. I have an impeccable driving record and will seek a CPR and First Aid recertification before starting any new position. I am careful with COVID and require a family who operates similarly.

In addition to rearing my own children and my prior nanny experience, I have done copious amounts of pediatric-related volunteer work and also have experience in an outpatient pediatric clinic (Spaulding-Lexington).

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love everything from indoor reading, singing, coloring, building and make-believe play to zoo, library, park and museum outings (to name a few) that are catered to the age and developmental level of the child/children. Having my occupational therapy degree, I am uniquely trained to contribute to the healthy development of children by providing what we OTs refer to as a “just right challenge.”

I have experience with kiddos who have mental health issues, speech difficulties, behavioral issues, sensory issues, neurological disorders (e.g. cerebral palsy, seizure disorders, etc.), autism, and other developmental disorders.
