I have 2 years of experience caring for children 3-14 as an assistant for the St. Pius X Afterschool Program. I was responsible for supervising over 60 students a day with the help of other assistants. The other assistants and I set up outdoor games, indoor crafts, and other activities throughout the school for students. I encouraging positive communication while maintaining a safe environment for children. I also had the authority to discipline when necessary. I prepared and served meals along with assisted children with their daily activities. My experience working with a broad age range of children gave me a great perspective on how to care for children of all ages.
