More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have experience with children in age groups 0-12 Months, 1-5 Y/O, 6-10 Y/O and 13-17 Y/O. I have previously worked as a correctional officer for at risk youths it
Was an eye opening expirence and I was grateful to have taken a part in help chang lives. I have a bachelor's degree majoring in Criminal Justice, and utilized that as a stepping stone to my dream goal in my future. Also I have cared for 1/infant 1/toddler 1/11 y/o for 4 years in New Mexico when I went to school full time. I also watch My nephews too here in AZ area (4 siblings). I have nannied a 9 month old little girl who is now 2 years old here in the AZ area. I also care for my children as well of course but I have the 50 % of the time and their father has the other 50%. We co parent well together with our schedules and accommodate eachother when needed for our work weeks if it is a long term commitment. My mother also helps me with my kiddos drop offs/pickups during my work week so no one schedule or work is disrupted.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Movies, puzzles, creating art, dancing, dress up, and games both brain and fun games! Playing at the park, indoor parks like kids empire, sky zone, zoo, museums, learning new things, making learning knowledge fun! Help with homework, helping teach manners and learning how to clean up after ourselves, positive reinforcement, goal setting, talk it out, learning emotions and how to communicate what they need, teaching boundaries, earning stickers or mini toys for chore completion or learning something new. Giving compliments, positive self talk, how to problem solve. Helping your child with emergency contacts in a creative learning environment when of age to do so, talking about stranger danger, learning safety drills, having our own schedule of events for the day to build routine if approved by mom/dad. Ex: Movie Monday, breakfast/lunch/snack split up during the day, art time for x amount of time, learning drill, hygiene, walk outside physical movement. Etc. Children love routine
The most important part about being a nanny...
Transparency, Consistency, safety, patience, creativity, and knowledge. Quick decision making with the parents expectations in the front of my mind. Give the children my absolute best of my ability and attention. Be kind and understanding. laughter is important for both your child and mom/dad. Raising a child is difficult w/o your village, and there are so many amazing super parents w/ a nanny as your sidekick forming a great team! A nanny is to be trusted, consistent and reliable, helping and adapting to the need of the family. Transparency and communication is needed both ways and I am a great communicator. I don't need to be micromanaged as I am a creature of routine but I can adapt to unforeseen changes if needed. I don't like to complain and rather problem solve. I am confident in everything I do and learn along the way. If you should choose me to be your nanny, my promise is too you that I will always maintain respect for your whole family and put 110% into your families needs!
My experience with special needs children...
Unfortunately I am not Qualified to look after a child with special needs, at this time. Hopefully one day I can change that and become certified.
The most important part about being a nanny...
When children surprise you with their little personalities and how funny they really are!! My favorite is this little girl I watch she walks and dances at the same time because she love to be silly!

Part-Time Nanny Available in Glendale, AZ: Aaliyah W.
Ever since I was about 12 years old I have also helped out at close family childcare centers and my senior year in high school I took an Early Childhood Development class and became an intern at a childcare center then began to work there for almost a year. I became uncomfortable with my employer and decided to move on. After that I still continued to help out in small childcare centers near my home and provide childcare to people that I knew. I’m motivated to provide care for children because it takes a village to raise a child and also a happy for spirited person to be around when parents are available is always a plus to have. I love to see children grow and advance and I love more to be apart of that process for them

Babysitter Available in Glendale, AZ: Emily S.
I have been the designated sitter in my family for as long as I can remember, but have been a professional nanny since 2022! I have a degree in Sociology and have also completed many courses in Early Childhood Development. I'm a very active person and love getting outside so trips to the park and anything to do with water is a must for me! Born and raised here in the valley so I am very familiar with the libraries, museums, zoos, splashpads, etc. Having a healthy mind and body are very important to me so I try to radiate that energy with the little ones I spend time with. My goal with every position, is tobecome an extension of the family that helps the household run smoothly and creates a safe space for the kiddos.
