I love the arts and crafts(I am going to pursue an elementary Art teacher job after college) and I love to draw with kids! Reading is another favorite past time of mine and I love children’s books, from the illustrations to the storylines. I also have quite a love for the outdoors and natural sciences. I love to camp, fish, hike, off-road, and swim. I took an entomology class in high school so a bug or two doesn’t scare me! I also have participated in many sports throughout my childhood and high school years including soccer, volleyball, softball, competitive swimming, and dance.
My experience with special needs children...
I have no experience working with special needs children, but I have worked for a caregiving agency assisting special needs adults in everyday life. I would take clients to and from appointments, help bath and change clients, help administer medications, communicate with family members and healthcare providers, complete daily household chores including cleaning, while also assisting in meal preparation and cooking.

I think it's important to grow a bond with not only the kids but also the parents.
