I am college educated, having completed my undergraduate studies at Smith College, in Northampton, Mass.
Today, I am a mother of 3 and a grandmother of 3. Professionally, I have always been in "helping" professions. I worked as an Elementary School Bilingual
Classroom Teacher for Los Angeles Unified School District. I was also a Spanish Instructor for children at Manhattan Academy, a Montessori school for children through 8th grade.
I have also held different positions in the field of social work, such as Bilingual Child and Family Specialist for Aviva Family and Children Services and Aviva Community Health Services. Most recently I became certified as a MediCal Peer Support Specialist.
I raised my children as a single parent while attending Law
School, and was able to complete 2 years of course studies.
