A little bit about me

I have cared for a few children through the years who have grown and no longer need my services. I understand the child(ren) are my main focus. I like to go outdoors, read, play games and do puzzles…I can also help with homework. With younger children I enjoy teaching them skills, shoe tying, colors and numbers, games etc. I also clean up the house after the children and can do meal prep. I’ve worked full time at non profits in NYC and have relocated to Kingston and would like to get back to childcare, where I know I made a difference in young lives.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have lived in boarding schools, I have worked for families with infants, toddlers and pre-teens. I enjoy all ages. I am currently not first aid certified but will get re-certified upon being hired.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love reading, coloring, painting, and crafts with kids (minimal glitter) I love teaching pre-schoolers colors, numbers, words etc. I like pre-teens as well and have worked in the kitchen with them, taught ironing and other skills. I also like watching a movie and just having down time together…card games, board games etc.

Having a positive affect on the child(ren) whether it’s fun time, learning or bedtime.

With the younger children watching them learn and grow from the things we do together. Knowing I have a positive impact on the child. I am still in touch a couple of times a year with past families and love seeing the children I’ve sat for.
