My name is Melanie and I have been a babysitter for 9 years. I started with most of my families when their first child was a new born and are still with most of my families for regualf babysitting even , while adding new children to the family. I love creating bonds with families, it’s rewarding! I studied early child care in college and have experience as an infant/ toddler/ preschool teacher at kindercare for 5 years total. I am currently back home in Colorado, but I am looking for a full-time job out in Massachusetts to be close to my campus when the semester starts again in August! I have also worked in many different settings such as daycares, sunday schools and in the family’s home! I am a college student going to BCC for my associates in ECE, then Bridgewater state to become a Kindergarten teacher someday! :) What I LOVE doing most with children is art’s and crafts projects with them, and making nice crafts for their families to take home and keep for a long time! I also like teaching children ages 3 and up how to learn to trace their first names with a crayon or a pencil. I also enjoy dancing and singing circle time songs with children, they love to dance with me and get their energy out too! :)
