A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Melanie Perez and I am a childcare professional with over 10 years of experience working with children ages 2-14. I am passionate about what I do and I strive to leave a positive impact on the children in my care. I have worked in schools as a preschool teachers assistant and home settings as a part time babysitter and nanny. For the last three years I have worked with children with ASD as a behavioral therapist technician. I am currently enrolled at FIU working towards my undergrad in psychology with hopes to pursue a masters degree in Pediatric Occupational Therapy. Aside from my career and school I am very passionate about health and fitness. I strive to live a very healthy lifestyle and as a hobby I love to workout and compete in running events. A few more of my passions include cooking new recipes, reading, painting, creating art, caring for my dog, and getting together with my family and friends.
