Hello! My name is Melinda and I am a mom of 2 (25 &22) and have a 5 year old granddaughter. I have worked with children with Autism for the last 17 years and it has been very fulfilling! I love children and love making a difference in their lives as well as their families. I am CPR certified as well! I have no professional experience as a nanny but I babysat from the age of about 10 (monitored) and then from about 13-18 on my own. I am looking for a career change because the companies out there these days don’t have the kids in mind anymore when it comes to getting them the best treatement and are more insurance billing driven. I feel being a nanny will give me that same fulfillment and it also stays within the area of working with children.
