More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was an infant teacher for most of my 35 years.I have worked in to previous daycare centers and home daycare and I have done some outside babysitting. I have recently been recertified in CPR/First Aid.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

With infants I give them a lot of floor time in doors so they can learn their developmental skills and get in the floor with them and interact with them. I also like to read to them as well as cuddle with them. I also like to take them outside weather permitting to either take them for walks or if there is play yard age appropriate of course then I will take them out there.

The most important part about being a nanny...

To be able to provide the best care for the infant. To to see that the parents are happy knowing that their child is well cared for and they communicate with me and with concerns that they have. Each child deserves the best possible care not only from the parents and families of each individual child but also someone who they can trust outside the family.

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked with some special needs children in the past. I worked with a child who had cerepal palsy, I have taken care children who have had mild to severe allergies whether it good allergies or some other allergy. I have had taken care children who have had developmental delays and other disabilities. I treat all children with the same kind of care and love and respect that each child deserves.
