I have a son myself! He’s eight and the light of my life. I also have helped my sister take care of her four children (whom range in age from six to fifteen!) since they were all babies.

I love helping children develop through reading, cooking WITH them (if age appropriate), completing art projects, going on adventures to various local areas (the zoo, library, walks to the park). I encourage independence in older children by making sure they help clean up after themselves when they make a mess, but I’m definitely known to help out if things seem overwhelming.
