What matters to me is making sure the child is happy and able to be expressive with me and feel comfortable. It makes my heart melt when kids can warm up to you and feel more safe and comfortable to play with me, talk with me, hold my hand, etc.

A sweet moment was watching the babygirl I took care of learning how to walk and taking her first steps. When I saw this happening and she was walking towards me it made me realize that she was growing up and learning new things with made me cry.
