Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
At the age of 12 I took care of my baby sister until I was 16 to then where I took care of five children where I did get paid for and sometimes on weekends I took care of two other kids from a different family, but then unfortunately, I had to leave it because I moved to Boston for my radiology career, but I still look forward to taking care of children here too. I also volunteered to take care of my fiancé‘s little brother who is a special-needs child. It was my first time, but honestly, it was amazing. He is a really sweet and loving boy.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
For outdoor activities, I like to show them a little soccer or go to playground for indoor activities. I used to teach Spanish to the kids. Of course if the parents give their consent and I also love drawing and painting, so I did a little bit of that with them too, and I also like to teach the kids cooking only if I have the parents approval.
The most important part about being a nanny...
To do it with love do not do it just because of the money, to actually love those children like if they were your own because the day of tomorrow you do not wanna hire somebody and they don’t give the same love you would had want for your children to get.
My experience with special needs children...
I only took care of a special needs child once and it was my fiancé‘s baby brother and I did it for about six months very loving child sometimes hard to understand because he did not speak,but I always did my best to understand him and it went amazing. Like I said very loving and loved to sleep on my chest. He is the cutest little boy.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite Nanny moment is when I get to teach the kids new things and honestly naps they look so adorable.
