More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Group home settings, with children and in home care for disabled. Youth Summer Park lunch program.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Depending on the child's age, infants I love interacting with them, while there awake. But when awake, love one attention, caring and snuggling them, so they feel safe and happy!
As for toddlers I love that one on one interaction with them, when not napping. I love doing arts & crafts, reading books to them, because their brains are like a sponge, best time for them to learn everything.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Is knowing my families leave, knowing their precious child/children are in amazing hands and don't have to worry. Am a very protective mama bear as I like to say, who loves all cubs left in my care. And at the end of the day, I go home happy within my heart, knowing that their growing up, happiness and learning, I had a part in that. Best feeling in the world!

I have cared for special needs children with Autism, ADHD and Sensory issues.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I would have to say one of maybe not the greatest moment for me, but the the laughter the little girl got out of it, was worth it inn the end. She didn't believe me that I could do cart wheels, so to settle our debate, I said I'll show you I can right now, so I did. Well I made the cart wheel, but my socks on their carpet landed me on my butt! So once the pain subsided, she gave me the biggest hug and we sat and laughed about it. The even funnier part, was that family has camera's throughout the house, and so mom & dad got to watch it over and over again, getting their laughter out of it as well. Talk about embarrassing, but well worth it in the end!
