Hi families! My name is Mercedie, and I’m a professional nanny with over 10 years of childcare experience, including infants, toddlers, and children with allergies or sensitive skin. I create a calm, patient, and structured environment where children feel secure and supported.

Because of statewide CCAP funding cuts, I do not currently have childcare for my 15-month-old daughter. I am looking for a position where she can come with me. She is gentle, social, and used to being around other kids. I always make sure my focus stays on the children in my care and the needs of the family I’m working for.

I’m reliable, nurturing, organized, and great with routines, meal prep, developmental play, and keeping a clean space. I aim to make home life easier and more peaceful for busy parents.

’ve worked as a full-time nanny and babysitter for over a decade, including caring for newborns, toddlers, and school-aged children. I also volunteered in church childcare programs and after-school activities, where I supported learning through play and creative expression. My hands-on experience as a mother further strengthens my ability to connect with and care for children in a patient, loving, and attentive way.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was watching a 2-year-old I had cared for since he was 3 months old “read” Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? on his own. I had read it to him countless times and used it to help teach him colors, animals, and early language through repetition and play. Seeing him proudly show his parents what he had learned was such a rewarding moment—it reminded me how impactful early learning and nurturing care can be.
