What is most important to me about being a nanny is truly being self aware that you are taking care of somebody else’s child. That child is their whole world and will become yours very quickly! You must take the utmost initiative in making this child your #1 priority.
My experience with special needs children...
I do volunteer work with my school’s Leo club and participate in one of my favorite yearly programs, the special olympics. Our special needs students get their own field day and i’ve made many fast friends through this program.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The funniest moment I remember is one of my kids took my phone when I was contacting their mother and hid it in their bookshelf so I ran around and tickled all three kids till they gave in and told me where it was. Sounds like a hassle but we all laughed and had a fun time.
