Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I’m a mother to an unusually smart 8 month old. She’s a handful but nothing I can’t handle. I love kids and I’m going to school to study child care in the spring. I love to read to them and I’m an exceptional cook, taught by my grandmother. I’ve graduated from a CNA class but decided to follow a different path. I would love to be a help to your family! Also I don’t leave the house being that I work from home so the environment is sick free! All shots including flu shot for me. Look forward to meeting you!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Reading books. Going to the park(walking distance from my home. Watching family friendly movies. Games, Arts and crafts(depending on age) and Developmental activities; I.e tummy time, Singing, water play, and standing/crawling exercises.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I feel like everyone needs a break sometimes. Go out to eat, have date night, catch some Z’s or even some, like me, are skeptical of daycares for young babies. I just want to be able to help other people while doing what I enjoy, caring for children.
My experience with special needs children...
I worked at Parkwood developmental center as a Direct Care Staff. I enjoyed the job but had to leave due to having my daughter. I was afraid to put her in daycare at the time so began remotely working.
