Hello! My name is Mia and I have worked with children since I was a young teenager. I helped run an in home daycare for nearly 15 years (ages newborn to 12) and was in Big Brothers Big Sisters when I was in high school. And I am a mom to a toddler and due with our second this winter. I would love to nanny your children and bring mine with to socialize! I have had extensive experience providing quality care to multiple children at once with no problems. I am also CPR and first aid certified, and have taken many courses over the years in regards to early childhood development, safe sleep and play based learning. LOVE interactive play! Kids learn best through play, so that's what we work on! My toddler, for example. He's 2, and knows which vehicles make what sounds and can imitate them, and spot them in real life settings. He also knows his colors, shapes and can describe things fairly well. I encourage lots of play time and being hands on with toys outside!
