More About Me

The most important part about being a nanny...
I believe the most important part of being a nanny is providing a space where children feel seen, understood, and free to be themselves. Children thrive when they know they are valued and accepted for who they are, and a supportive environment allows them to explore their interests, express their creativity, and build confidence.
Being a nanny is about actively listening, encouraging curiosity, and fostering independence while also setting gentle boundaries. When kids feel safe and supported, they develop trust, feel empowered to try new things, and learn how to navigate the world with confidence. Creating that kind of environment is both rewarding and meaningful, and it’s something I strive to bring to every interaction with children.

My experience with special needs children...
Personally, I was born with a short arm and three fingers, but I’ve never let that define me or limit what I can do. Growing up, I learned how to adapt, stay determined, and approach challenges with a positive mindset. I was always dedicated in school and developed strong problem-solving skills along the way.
Because of my own experiences, I feel I have a deeper understanding of what it’s like to navigate the world a little differently. I’ve learned patience, resilience, and how important it is to create an environment where everyone feels included and supported. I believe those qualities help me connect with and support children with special needs in a meaningful and empathetic way.

The most important part about being a nanny...
Although I haven’t officially been a nanny, I’ve spent the past three summers as a camp counselor, and some of my favorite moments with kids have been going to the park together. I love watching them run, play, and explore while having fun outdoors.
Whether it’s swinging, climbing, or playing a game of tag, seeing their energy and excitement is so rewarding. Those moments remind me how much joy there is in simply being present, active, and encouraging kids as they have fun and make memories.

Hi, my name is Amber. I’ve been working with kids for over 10 years. I have loved every second of childcare and learn something new at all the centers I’ve worked at. I first started in park districts as a camp counselor and then I got to run my own summer camp as an assistant director. I have also ran my own pre-K program three years at a daycare. I am now working in a three year-old classroom at the moment at the daycare. I am CPR certified and first aid certified.

Full-Time Child Care Provider Available in Antioch, IL: Margaret F.
Hi, my name is Margaret! I’ve been working in child care since I was 19, with experience in both child care centers and as an assistant director. Recently, I transitioned into a role as a preschool assistant teacher with a school district, and I’m loving the new experience.
I believe in the power of hands-on learning and always bring positive energy to the children I care for. I enjoy spending time outdoors with the kids whenever the weather allows, whether that’s going to the park, taking nature walks, or simply exploring and discovering new things.
Even during the summer, I’m committed to providing fun, engaging learning experiences every day. With your permission, I’m happy to plan activities like art projects, visits to new places, and more. No matter what we’re doing, your child will always receive the attention, care, and priority they deserve.
Thank you for considering me!
