Hi, my name is Micaiah! I am a 20 year old full time college student. I am majoring in Administrative Justice for Transfer in hopes of becoming a Forensic Scientist for the FBI. I currently am fully online so working full time wouldn't be a problem. I am 1 of 8 siblings ranging from 21 to 1 years old. I love being around kids as I feel they see the world in a better light and have no worries, they're truly a breath of fresh air. In my past jobs working with kids, I bonded with the families and began babysitting for them, which I currently still do from time to time.

I would say the most important part about being a nanny is trust. Of course I want the parents to trust me but also the children. I would like the family as a whole to feel like they can count on me.

While working at the YMCA as a ChildWatch Attendant, I have encountered multiple special needs children from all ranges (light, moderate, severe). I learned that each kid has their own attributes. Each kid prefers something else and I think when you take the time to learn the child you can find the best method that works for them!
