Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Really depends on the age of the children and also what they’re interested in. For babies I enjoy montesorri sensory games. Toddlers a lot of outdoor activities to get their energy out. With bigger kids I try to keep them occupied so we limit the screen time. There’s so much we could do from arts and crafts to swimming, dancing, singing, hide and seek, walks, chalk the sidewalk or go to the playground. Options are limitless it all just depends what are child’s interests .
The most important part about being a nanny...
To fulfill parents and kids expectations. Number 1 thing parents are looking for is obviously safety of their children. I’m a European raised and cared for multiple of my younger siblings, cousins but also not related kids so I’m well aware of the amount of responsibility the nanny is carrying for someone else’s child. It’s not just being on your phone and a company the child. Nannying is not an easy job especially if you’re carrying for multiple kids but when you get to know the kiddos and show them a little boundaries and respect everything works out just fine. You’re not their parent but you also have to keep teaching them what their parents are trying to implement into them such as love, caring, sharing, respect and many others.
