I worked in a daycare for 3 years in Bellevue, WA in the infant and toddler room. I also ran my own after school program out of my home in GA while my kids were in school.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I believe in outdoor activities (weather permitting). I was a lifeguard for several years and taught all my kids and granddaughters to swim. I love doing arts and crafts with kids and believe that TV should be limited. I love to play music with kids !

The most important part about being a nanny to me is making sure the parents feel like they don't have to worry a bit about how their child is being taken care of. Trust is the most important part about being a nanny. A family is trusting a nanny to love, take care of and protect a child or children just like or even better than their parents while in their care.

I don't have much experience with special needs children, but I am very patient and willing to learn.

Honestly, when the kids I used to watch at my after-school program, used to tell their parents that they didn't want to go home when they came to get them. A few of them just clung to me and told me that they loved me.
