A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Michelle, and I have been working with children almost all my life now. I was first introduced to working with children as a young child through my mother who ran a home daycare business out of our home for over 15 years! I got to be raised in an environment where I got to learn how to care for and look after children of all ages. It allowed me to see how much capacity my heart has for others and how much joy it brings me to look after and care for others! I have also worked at FMSC where I got to be a Safety Supervisor for almost 3 years, I was able to work with groups of up to 185 kids and loved to teach them and watch them thrive! I did get CPR trained through my employer, along with Mental Health training to help those who are struggling or in crisis. I’m looking to get back to a job that allows me to help others and feel fulfilled!

My experience with special needs children...

Working in mental health and as well as FMSC, I got to work with children with special needs for almost 4 years. It has allowed me to really enjoy working with kids of all needs and see how every individual needs something different. They have allowed me to see the world in new ways and want to help the grow and thrive!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I love getting to see the kids grow and become their own person! Getting to work with kids for so long, I’ve gotten to see them as new borns and watch them become who they are as young adults!
