I have many years of experience working not only with children in their homes as a nanny, but also as a teacher for early childhood in a child development center. I have cared for a class of 12 children under the age of 8 years old. Also, I have worked with children new born to 18 years of age. I am not limited on my experiences.

The children I have worked with have a variation of special needs; ADHD, ADD, CEREBRAL PALSY, AUTISM, ANXIETY, WHEELCHAIR, ETC. These are not the only areas of work I have experience with special needs, but just a few of the more prominent areas I have spent time in.

One summer I had the pleasure of teaching a little guy how to ride his bike. This had been such a struggle and dad being military and on deployment, he was unable to commit the time necessary; I stepped up because mom was working hard and the little guy never showed so much excitement in my life! He exclaimed that he just "could not wait to show his dad!" That is what nannying is all about.
