My name is Michelle. I have been working with children for many years. I started out working and volunteering at all The Salvation Army children programs. I developed a great work ethic and started working at Preschools and daycare centers. I have been a private Nanny for over 9 years with a few different families for Nanny-Shares. I really enjoy working in a Nanny-Share because I get to work with multiple children. I am very patient and enjoy teaching children fundamentals that can help them in their daily life. I love going for walks to the park and I love being around animals.

I have worked in Child Care facilities, In home Daycares. I've been a Babysitter, Private Nanny and have been involved in a few Nanny-Shares.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy being outside with Children. Going for walks to park. Playing outside and doing art projects.

My experience with special needs children...

When I was working at a daycare facility and at an in-home daycare, I had lots of one on one time with children who had specific special needs and needed the one on one time. I learned and gained alot from both of those children and experiences.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite Nanny Moment is when I taught one of the children I was with for over 4 years sight words. We worked on sight words for about a year before she started kindergarten, she learned so quickly and was always so excited to do them. That little lady has been thriving in school. I'm happy I could help her be prepared and ready for school.
