More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
In high school I volunteered to go to our elementary school every day and work in the library where I would get several opportunities to help. I got to help the young kids find what they were looking for and check of and I also even got to watch over the special education class which always meant a lot to me.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing arts and crafts with children I feel as though it’s a way to keep them creative and I also, when weather is permitted, enjoy going outside or even to the park and playing with the kids I am watching. I consider myself super creative and enjoy being creative with kids as well.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is ensuring safety and making sure everything is safe for the kids. Also, building a bond not only with the children but also with the families. I believe in this industry we all work as a team to ensure safety and well-being and without a bond and good communication that cannot happen.
My experience with special needs children...
While working at daycares I did have several times where I did have special needs children in my classes. I feel as though when working with kids with special needs you do have to approach the situation differently but allow the same grace and patience you would with any other child.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment is one with a family I was recently babysitting for. Every time I would come over we would always allow time for me to make new custom coloring coloring sheets for them and I to do while we waited for dinner. It has become a bit of a tradition for whenever I come over, and knowing something so small is something they look forward to truly warms my heart.

Hi! My name is Gannon Hollar and i’m currently a gap year student living in Raleigh!!
I have worked with kids a ton throughout my teenage years. I was a nanny for a 5 month old for 7 months in 2022 before starting college. I have babysat for kids from ages 2-10. I have been a regular for three families but they have all sadly moved away. I also have two younger brothers who I have helped care for as they have grown up.
I love being outdoors so the kids will get plenty of exercise such as hikes, trips to the playground, and nature walks. I am not CPR certified but am willing to get certified immediately if offered a job! I believe I am a strong leader and will make play time for the kids fun but educational and structured.

Full-Time Nanny Available in Raleigh, NC: Katelyn C.
I've been a nanny for over two years now and have six years of babysitting experience. Ages ranging from newborn up to 12 years old.
I love coming up with age appropriate activities, going for walks or to the park, and just overall keeping a happy and fun environment that also enriches a developing mind!
I'm comfortable with bottles, meals, naps, diapers, assisting with the toilet, playtime, reading, and going out doors. As well as light house cleaning such as: laundry, washing bottles and other dishes, putting toys away, and really just whatever to keep the place tidy as I'm used to doing that during nap times anyways.
I have my own car and I'm always okay with staying longer if needed.
Overall, I'm very flexible and reliable.
I'm a CNA with CPR and First Aid certifications. I come with good references, please let me know if interested :)
