Playing at the park, going on walks, doing art activities, doing some math and reading activities. Reading books and using our imaginations to create our own stories.

The most important part to me is creating a relationship with not only the parents but the child, I am being trusted to watch their child for a period of time and by creating a safe space for the child and creating a relationship that is full of trust and fun not only is important to me but also to the parents knowing their child is safe.
My experience with special needs children...
I have grown up with a special needs child in my family and have experience with working with feelings and emotions in tough times, I have found that bear hugs often help a child if they need to calm down and or giving them a toy that can help distract them from the situation that may be happening.
