Hi there!
My name is Mikayla and I am a fourth-year college student at Vanguard University, trying to obtain my Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies (Education) with three minors (mathematics, music, and religion). In addition to nannying and babysitting, I am also a tutor at the university I attend. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I will be continuing my schooling and learning remotely from home (distance learning).

I am the oldest of four in my family, so I have had many opportunities to babysit and care for my own siblings as well as other children. Outside of caring for my own brothers and sisters, I have been a nanny for one family for over three years!

I love kids of all ages, caring for them, making memories with them, and helping them grow to their fullest potential. I look forward to being a part of you and your child’s life!

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have done volunteer work with abused and neglected kids from the foster system. I have worked with these kids through a program called Royal Family KIDS Camp, which is a 5-day camp in the summer where these at-risk foster kids and youth can simply just be a kid and have positive memories!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love doing all sorts of different types of arts and crafts with kids! I also enjoy going outside or going on walks with the kids. It’s an opportunity for them to get out of the house, have a change of scenery, and enjoy all the beautiful things of this world! In addition, I also love helping kids learn about things, whether it be reading, learning a new skill, etc.
