A little bit about me

My name is Mildraide and I'm from Haiti and was raised in Florida. I speak Haitian-Creole and some french. I have a B.A. Degree from the New School University, in New York City. I am an actress and a mother of a 5 year old. I am the youngest of 6 and have 9 nieces and 9 nephews all of whom I've helped to raised. I was also worked as baby sitter as a teenager. I am looking for part time job that will that will not conflict with my son's schedule as well as my ability to audition. As a mother I know first hand how challenging it is to take care of a baby and raise a child. I believe and nurturing them but but setting up rules, teaching them right from wrong but leaving room for them explore and make mistakes. Also making sure they are mentally and emotionally ready to deal with the many obstacles that they will face. I'm from the Caribbean, therefore I absolutely believe that you treat people like family until they give you a reason not to. It truly does take a village to raise a kid.
