I was once with a kid who seemed very closed off and quiet and their parents even told me that the kid had never opened up to them much. After about two weeks with this kid (younger girl) and she finally was starting to open up to me and be more talkative with me and it warmed my heart completely knowing that i was becoming someone she felt she could trust.
I love feeling as if a child can trust me and feel safe with me. it absolutely warms my heart to the core.
