Hi! I'm Miranda. I am 29 years young, I live with my long term boyfriend, and have cats. Taking care of children has always been a passion of mine.

Previously I had two long-term families that I was assisting. One family has three young boys, a four-year-old and a three-year-old. My other family has a six-year-old son.

When the weather is nice, I like to encourage outside playtime as long as the parents are comfortable. I do come equipped with sidewalk chalk and bubbles! (most of the time)

As much as I try not to encourage technological dependency, I understand it can be necessary for parents and nannies!

I take pride in being a trustworthy and dependable asset to families that I assist. Being a nanny is a very humbling and fulfilling task for me. I love all of God's children. Nurturing and caring for others have always come naturally.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

My first nanny job was at 13. I cared for four children from the ages of 3 months to nine years old.

I grew up having two younger sisters in a single mother house hold and had to help be a parent with my mother.

I've been with the families I currently assist for over 2 years.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Making hopscotches outside, blowing bubbles, running around in the yard, taking walks, coloring, paint, teaching colors, counting, and learning the alphabet!

It is nice to unwind with kids and put on a movie and make yummy popcorn!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Being a good influence, a good role model, and letting kids do what is most important, being kids!

My experience with special needs children...

One of my families has a six year old autistic child that I have been helping with since he was 3.5 years old. I'm very patient and understanding with all children but I know with special needs children there is a more specific level of care.
