A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Miranda and I would love for you to learn more about me and consider myself to care for your little ones. I have been an auntie to SEVEN for 14 years. I had some paid babysitting experience during my teens but most of my experience comes from caring for my nieces and nephews. I have been surrounded by children my entire life and thoroughly enjoy all things kids. From playing to tantrums and milestones I will give your child the care they need. Kids have always been an essential aspect of my life and I feel that my personality shines brightest when I am helping a child to grow and play. I also have some experience with a food intolerance child and am CPR certified so you can feel like your child is in safe hands. I love playing dress-up, house, any sport, games, adventuring - whatever they need! Most recently, I cared for an 8 month girl for about a year for a couple of days a week. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have seven nieces and nephews the oldest being 14 and the youngest being 4 who I care for all the time. I also have some paid babysitting experience from high school as well as most recently caring for an 8 month old for a year.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Playing sports, games, pretend house, artwork, read, etc. Taking them to do activities outside of the house/outside. Helping them with schoolwork/teaching. Taking them to practices or lessons.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Is to care for the child and have fun but make sure they are nurtured properly. Safety is always the most important.

My experience with special needs children...

I have one niece who has a slight learning disability due to seizures and a shunt in her brain. She is very able but sometimes requires more attention to remind her to slow down and take breaks.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I love all my nanny moments but my favorite is when kids sit and tell me stories. Their imaginations are endless and so creative!
