I have always gone beyond simply keeping children safe and meeting their physical needs. I have a natural, God-given ability to recognize when a child may be struggling emotionally and needs understanding, comfort, or support. For me, caring for children is much deeper than playing and having fun—it is about truly connecting with them and positively influencing their lives, even when the impact may not become visible until years later.
My experience with special needs children...
At one of the schools where I worked, each class of approximately 15 students included a child with special needs. I had the opportunity to work with children with Down syndrome and autism, always with the support of a trained specialist. I adapted educational activities according to each child’s professional assessment and individual needs. It was a very rewarding experience, although I strongly believe that specialized professional training is essential to provide these children with the appropriate care and support.

The most rewarding part of working with children is seeing the lasting impact of our time together. Even after many years, former students and children I have cared for remember special moments more clearly than I do. Receiving messages from them and their parents on my birthday, Teacher’s Day, or Christmas is deeply touching. Knowing that they still remember me with affection is the greatest reward.
