I'm a mom of 2 adult kids. I have a son and a daughter. I was the PTO President of 3 different schools same district. I absolutely love kids and will love them, like they were my own. I love to read, go for walks. With my kids grown, I am now free to take care of someone else kids.

My experience with special needs children...

I took care of a girl named Shelly, she was mentally and physically disabled. I took care of her from the day she was born. I loved that girl like she was mine. Her and I had an incredible bond. I understood what she wanted or needed. I took care of her until she passed away. She was my Shell Bell, that's what I called her. She changed my life in such a positive way. I will never forget her.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I was taking care of a disabled 4 year old. She wasn't feeling well and had the poops something awful. I was changing a diaper that really needed a couple of people to help, lol, she kept rolling back and forth making a big mess. The next thing I know she vomited straight up into the air and right down onto her face. I panicked and told the oldest to call her mom. By the time she got home, I had bathed the little girl and cleaned up the whole mess. When the mom got home and heard what happened she laughed so hard. Then she said welcome to motherhood!
